Synopsis
Russia at the end of the 19th century. While Yuri Zhivago continued his medical studies, he also became known as a poet. Having lost his parents when he was young, he marries Tonya, the daughter of his foster parents, but falls in love with Lala, a woman of poor fortune whom he meets at a party. A magnificent taiga romance depicting men and women at the mercy of turbulent times.
