Embracing you, into a world without a map
The English Patient
review
Synopsis
Italy at the end of World War II. A man who suffered burns all over his body in a desert plane crash, lost most of his memory, and was rushed to a field hospital. Hana, a nurse who lost both her lover and best friend in the war and is in despair, continues to devote herself to nursing in a monastery that has been destroyed by bombing. The man lets Hana listen to his memories that come back in fragments, and his true identity gradually becomes clear. An amazing story of passion, intrigue, and adventure.
