I would be happy if something changes

Q: Personally, what I like about this movie is that it has a passionate catharsis. It doesn't just end up being a gloomy youth drama, but instead turns into entertainment. I really like that. As a movie fan, I really enjoyed it. Lastly, please give a Arrival to everyone who will be watching the movie.

Uchiyama: In order to create a work that would be seen by many people, I decided from the beginning that I would not run away from what is called entertainment. I always try to make the ending of a movie a bit of a hopeful ending, depending on the interpretation of each person who watched it, such as when the scenery after leaving the theater looks different than usual, or when the poster is interesting. I think it would be great if I could bring about changes like looking different. If the people who watch it can take something away with them and change their lives even just a little bit from tomorrow, then I want to make a movie that will help them.

I think showing "Sasaki, In, My Mine" in this day and age has great meaning. We hope that the times and our thoughts overlap, and that we can deliver something to our customers.

Hosokawa: I made this movie because I wanted people to not just think, ``That was a good movie,'' but to think positively, ``If something interesting like this exists, then we can do it too.'' I would be happy if people could see the movie and feel hopeful.
