What is the true identity of the Great Demon King Oz?

Dorothy and her three companions arrive at the Emerald City, the capital of the land of Oz, and finally have an audience with the Great Demon King Oz. A gigantic green face makes an intimidating sound, but it is actually a mechanical device operated by a nice-looking old gentleman. The demon king was created using effects such as smoke, light, sound, and flames. The old man was a charlatan, and he was also a Kansas man who ended up in the Land of Oz after his balloon drifted away. Dorothy ends up returning to Kansas with him...

We, too, are witnessing Oz's shenanigans. This is the case with this movie itself. This movie is also decorated with special effects, similar to the giant green face created by Oz. In that sense, the magic of Oz can also be said to be the magic of movies. The smoke that envelops the witch and extinguishes her, the costume that looks like tin, and the army of small, winged monkeys are probably the same as the magic tricks of Oz. The magic of Oz is a movie that draws you in and makes you forget your boring daily life, even though you know it's fake.

Even after 80 years, its magic has not diminished, and in fact, it has grown stronger and stronger, and continues to be passed down in countless films. I think this work has been loved for so long not only because of its fascinating worldview and characters, but also because it is deeply connected to the experience of watching a movie.
