Isn't the word "genius" meant for this person? Peter Greenaway, a film director with a cult following around the world. Ari Aster, who is currently producing controversial works one after another, is also said to be obsessed with him. Greenaway's work has now been remastered. In this edition of ``Peter Greenaway Retrospective: The Magician Who Suffered from Beauty,'' we will be introducing ``The English Garden Murder'' (1982), ``Drown in Numbers'' (1988), ``ZOO'' (1985), and ``The Book of Prospero'' (1991). Four films will be screened.

Old movie "Backdraft"

March 1st is film director Ron Howard's birthday. One of his masterpieces is ``Backdraft'' (1991), which is considered a monumental firefighter movie in the 1990s. What amazes me about this work is the sense of realism at the scene of the fire. Now, more than 30 years later, when I look at it again, it's still the same. At that time, the era of CG had not yet begun, which is why almost all of the flames that appear in this work are ``real'' and have no falsehoods.
