Leading actors who are both Oscar nominees

Of course, the creators were also particular about casting. It doesn't just have to be a well-known cast. It must be a talented person who embodies the life style of a historical great and can deeply dig into the hearts of the viewers. The two people who stand out are F. Murray Abraham, who plays Salieri, and Tom Hulce, who plays Mozart.

Their acting in this film received critical acclaim, and both of them were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor. As a result, Abraham easily won the Oscar, and it seems that this movie, and Abraham's winning the award, were so overwhelmingly powerful that they really didn't flinch.

How actors who were almost unknown rose to fame

Tom Hulce, who rose to prominence in comedy films, beat out his closest rivals to win the role. It is said that he took inspiration from tennis player John McEnroe's ``emotionally exposed playing style'' when preparing for the role, but what was most grueling for him was the intensive training in piano and conducting.

It seems that he practiced for four hours a day for a long period of time, and the results are obvious. He was able to perfectly perform the performance without dubbing, using fingerings like a child prodigy, as if he were actually playing along with the sound source. His miraculous feats are engraved with realism throughout the main story, and he even performs a street performer-like feat of playing the piano while upside down. He is truly an actor with incredible skill and passion.

Abraham, on the other hand, was also a stage actor who was still virtually unknown in the film world. He was originally set to play another supporting role, but at one point he had the opportunity to play Salieri as a "stand-in" during an audition for another actor. This changed my destiny. As soon as director Foreman heard his lines, he praised him and said, ``This is Salieri!'' and decided to hire him. It is a story of success that is just like the one pictured in the picture.

The two were highly selected in this way, but just as they thought they had developed a close bond, they intentionally refrained from interacting with each other. Even when Horus, who plays Mozart, goes out drinking with his co-stars and staff, Abraham doesn't mix in and is always a loner. In this way, by heightening each other's emotions, delving into their roles, and colliding their undulating souls all at once on set, they were able to create such a breathtaking and historic performance.
