Allegory scattered throughout the story

Saoirse Ronan, who was 12 years old when she starred in `` Atonement ,'' was 16 when she starred in ``Hanna.'' When they worked together for the first time in four years, director Wright said he was amazed at her growth. Of course, I have changed a lot physically. However, her personality that emanates from within has not been lost at all; in fact, it has evolved and become unwavering. I'm sure the two of them renewed their old bond even further, and continued making the film while facing each other deeply from the same perspective as artists.

One of the topics that was often discussed was the film's "allegorical nature." There was probably a certain amount of that element in the script, but when you add in the sensibility of Joe Wright, who grew up immersed in Grimm's Fairy Tales and Andersen's Fairy Tales from an early age, the unique worldview emerges even more vividly.

For example, starting from a world isolated from the rest of the world is a common pattern in fairy tales, and the father she lives with is also like the ``difficult lumberjack'' we often see. Eventually, the girl goes through a moment that resembles a rite of passage and steps out into the world, and in the process, painfully, discovers who she is. And at the end, a confrontation with the ``evil witch'' awaits... I see, everything fits perfectly into the flow of the fable.

Director Wright often compared Ronan to The Little Mermaid when giving her acting instructions, and asked her to imbue the character of Hanna with the "drive" and "impulse" that are typical of the impressionable teenage years.

The way Saoirse Ronan takes in everything and becomes the main character, a transcendent girl, is sometimes fierce and wild, and other times fresh and delicate.

At this point, I suddenly realized that every work she appears in has a more or less ``innocent girl learning about the outside world'' flow.

And what makes her so amazing is that while she has starred in so many films with similar melodies, she manages to make each one sound like a completely different harmony. This is the result of her crystal-clear presence, which allows her to blend in with any subject or material with ease. Needless to say, in this film too, she combines action with allegory to create a completely different heroine.
