Toshihide Ikeda, who led the legendary alternative movie magazine "ZOOM-UP"

The first is `` Erotic Hon Suikoden - A nostalgic record of erotic media - Big breasts don't remind me '' (2017/Ninginsha Bunko), which was published last year.

The author, Toshihide Ikeda, joined Self Publishing at the same time that Suei was working on ``NEW self''. I decided to participate in the editing of the magazine. In this book, Suei is referred to as ``Mr. S'', and is described as ``an editor with an avatar face'' and ``Mr. S, who has a nouveau-like appearance and speaks in a mumbled manner while smiling, has a mysterious charm. He has a sharp intuition. You can also learn about Suei's personality from Ikeda's point of view, including his uniqueness of ideas, human perversity, and personality that is a condensation of eroticism. It also introduces many dangerous episodes from the editorial department at the time (Ran ●, ● leaves, etc...I'll keep the details a secret).

``NEW self'' was discontinued in 1977 due to a banning scandal. After that, the legendary magazine ZOOM-UP was launched in the fall of the same year, with Ikeda as editor-in-chief, inspired by Suei's ``Do you want a movie magazine?''

This is an alternative movie magazine that promotes new movie movements such as pink and porn movies and independent movies that are completely different from major scenes, and has gained a cult following among young people. The editorial department also included current film critic Tokitoshi Shiota. The publication ended with the April 1981 issue, but during that time, the only rival of this magazine was ``Weekend Super'', which was published by Suei at the same publishing company, so you can see the enthusiasm in this area at the time. There is something amazing about it. Of course, the key people involved in both magazines overlapped considerably.

By the way, Ikeda left Self Publishing in October 1981. After working as an editor at several other publishing companies, he passed away in 1997 at the age of 49 (he was born in 1948, the same age as Suei). This book, ``Erohon Suikoden,'' was compiled by Yoshiaki Suzuki, a reportage writer, exactly 20 years after his death, from his posthumous manuscripts, which were serialized in the big-breasted magazine ``Gals D'' (Dia Publishing) until the March 1996 issue. Thing. Of course, Suzuki was one of the writers who contributed to ``ZOOM-UP'' when he was young.
