Synopsis
San Francisco. Johnny Boz, a nightclub owner, was found brutally murdered in his bedroom. He was completely naked, his hands bound, and his body stabbed with ice picks. City police detective Nick begins investigating the victim's girlfriend, female writer Catherine Trammell, who was last seen with him, as a suspect. She had previously written a novel with a story similar to this incident. However, there is no evidence that she was responsible for the crime. Meanwhile, Catherine says she wants to write a novel using Nick as a model.
