What to draw and what not to draw

The action scenes in "RRR" are full of spectacle, with blood pumping and bodies racing. They are flashy, but never surreal. The balance is excellent.

From the beginning, non-stop action explodes. Police officer Rama fights against thousands of people all by himself. Gerard Butler, who once starred in ` `300'' (2007), faced off against a million-strong Persian army with an army of only 300 men, but this time he was alone. There is a limit to a lone soldier's struggle. SS Rajamouli seems to have had a lot of trouble with this direction, but he manages to overwhelm the viewers with his Donnie Yen-like stick skills, high and low action, frequent use of high-speed shooting (slow motion), and crisp editing. .

What's surprising is that the tension is maintained even in the scenes where there is no action. In my opinion, there are two reasons for this. One is the generation of suspense: ``When will the true identities of these two people, who are actually enemies, be revealed?'' The other thing is that it's making people look forward to when these two will join forces. By providing an abundance of instantaneous visual excitement, and giving the audience a sense of what will happen next, the film is structured to keep the audience interested in the three-hour long film.

In fact, this movie has surprisingly little depiction of romance. The romance between Rama and Sita (Aaliya Bhatt) is weak, and although Bheem has feelings of admiration for Jenny (Olivia Morris), their relationship never goes beyond that. The most iconic scene is the "Naatu Naatu" scene where Bheem and Rama dance at the party venue. The two of them were criticized for not being able to dance tango or flamenco, but they danced to the beat of the intense drums. Those who fall are immediately disqualified, and the solemn party transforms into a dance battle competition. The reason they dance is not to act as a courtship act, but to resist discrimination. The story of the revolution is placed in the main story with a bang, and it never flows into side stories with side stories.

What to depict and what not to depict? SS Rajamouli must have carefully calculated and planned it. That is why "RRR" is packed with entertainment at its highest density. I can say with confidence that this movie is entertaining from start to finish.
