Adam McKay's intensely spiced dishes

The synopsis is roughly like this. Hawthorne is a high-class French restaurant located on a remote island on the Pacific coast. Despite the ridiculously high price tag of $1,250 per person, customers from all over the world flock to the restaurant to sample the cuisine of the legendary charismatic chef Slovik (Ralph Fiennes). Margo (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Tyler (Nicholas Hoult) are another couple who arrive at the restaurant, which is unable to take reservations. In contrast to Tyler, who couldn't help but be moved by each dish that came out, Margo felt something uneasy. Eventually, the situation takes a turn in an unexpected direction...

This film is produced by Adam McKay. The `` Oretachi '' series (Japanese titles without permission) such as ` `Oretachi Newscaster '' (2004), `` Oretachi Step Brothers'' (2008), and ``Other Guys Odori Hyper Detective! '' (2010), etc. He is a film maker known for the ``Oretachi'' series.

In ` `Money Trading Places '' (2015), he exposed the folly of money worship through the subprime mortgage crisis, and in ` `Don't Look Up '' (21), he made a scathing critique of society through the crisis of global extinction. He is a leading figure in satirical plays that are full of black poison. In his recent drama series `` Media Kings' ', for which he is listed as an executive producer, he portrays the wealthy family who run a global media company as cynics who no one can empathize with, thereby portraying the privileged class. He was bitterly sarcastic.

Originally, ``The Menu'' was to be directed by Alexander Payne, known for `` About Schmidt '' (2002) and ``Nebraska'' (2013). However, it was Mark Mylod, a veteran director born in 1951, who ultimately took over the role. To be honest, he is not well known, but he was an acquaintance of Adam McKay, having served as an episode director on the aforementioned `` The Media King' '.

"When I first started directing, I wanted a theatrical career. But my early films weren't very good, to be honest, so I had a hard time growing up."

As Mylod himself has said, his career in movies was by no means a spectacular one. He has steadily built up a career in TV dramas such as `` Shameless '' and `` The Game of Thrones, '' and was appointed in recognition of his solid work performance. In any case, there is no doubt that this is a strongly spiced dish with a rich Adam McKay flavor.
