The shocking The Truth about a Nobel Prize-winning author

``The Wife,'' a film adaptation of New York Times author Meg Wolitzer's 2003 The Truth, `` The Wife, '' has unexpectedly harsh content and a strong, forward-thinking story. It was a work that left me stunned for a while with Arrival.

The story of this work begins in America in the 1990s. Famous writer Joseph Castleman receives an international phone call saying, ``You have been selected for this year's Nobel Prize in Literature.'' Joseph is so ecstatic at the good news that after he gets off the phone, he and his wife, Joan, can't help but hold hands and dance inside the house. However, this couple had a serious problem. It was actually Joan who wrote many of the masterpieces published under Joseph's name.

The film follows a couple as they travel to Stockholm, Sweden, to attend the Nobel Prize award ceremony. In the meantime, episodes from when the two were young are intermittent, and the reason why Joan came to serve as The Ghost Writer is revealed.

Veteran actor Glenn Close plays Joan. It is reported that she has appointed Swedish director Björn Runge, and this film is directed by Close and is for her. Joan's younger self is played by her own daughter, Annie Stark.

Joan was once a university student under Joseph's guidance, and from that time on she demonstrated her outstanding talent as a writer. However, her dream of becoming a writer is thwarted by the misogyny that prevails in the industry. However, Jaune ends up using his powers in unexpected ways. After the two got married, Joan began to help Joseph, who was struggling as a writer. One after another, masterpieces were created, and eventually she started writing most of the content. In other words, the Nobel Prize awarded to Joseph Castleman should really go to Joan.

Christian Slater, who played the role of a writer who interviews vampires in the hit film ` `Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles' ' (1994) over 20 years ago, appears here as a writer who interviews the couple on their travels. He was trying to figure out that Joan was The Ghost Writer. When Jaune is pursued, he says, ``You have a rich imagination.'' Because exposing The Truth would mean confessing that she had been lying to the world and to her son.
