Calendar Man / Mad Hatter / Hugo Strange

・Calendar Man

Calendar Man, who has a good visual and straightforward name, is a criminal who is particular about dates. His real name is Julian Gregory Day. Since Julian uses the Julian calendar and Gregory uses the Gregorian calendar, their last name is Day, so they become obsessed with days of the week, anniversaries, and holidays, and commit crimes related to them. Depending on the work, she may have a simple appearance, but the calendar costume with dates all over her body is more pop-like. ``The Lego Batman The Movie '' features not only major villains but also many minor ones, and Calendar Man also makes an appearance.

・Mad Hatter

Jarvis Tetch, a neuroscientist who becomes obsessed with Lewis Carroll's children's books and believes himself to be the Hatter, becomes the Mad Hatter. It looks exactly like the illustrations by John Tenniel, and inside the large top hat, which is out of proportion to his body type, is a mind control device used to manipulate the poor victims and invite Batman to Wonderland, where a crazy tea party is held. The device is installed. His level of madness sets him apart from other villains, as he is unable to distinguish between the world of "Alice in Wonderland" and reality, and he also shows a dangerous obsession with children. He can be said to be one of the characters responsible for the darkness and creepiness of the Gotham worldview. One of the charms of the series is that it includes quotations from literary works and fairy tales.

・Hugo Strange

In DC Comics, ``Doctor Strange'' is not a surgeon but a criminal psychologist, and not a magician but a mad scientist. A terrifying person who used his brilliant mind to explore the true identity of Batman and uncover the secrets of the Dark Knight. The identity of Batman is, of course, a primary concern of Gotham's villains, and is often the driving force behind the story. Strange was the first villain to uncover Batman's secret, and as such, he is considered a formidable enemy who can corner Batman intellectually and psychologically. Although he has not yet appeared in the movie, he is played by B.D. Wong, who is familiar as the evil scientist Dr. Wu from the Jurassic Park series, in the drama The GameGotham , and is also played by B.D. '', he is depicted as a powerful enemy who rules over Arkham City, which has been converted from an entire slum into a large prison, and hunts down Bruce Wayne even though he knows he is Batman.

The introduction of Batman's villains will continue next time...
