The distance between the two was strange

Q: What was the sense of distance from each other and the surroundings like on the set?

Aoki: There was something strange about the distance between the two of them.

Ishikawa: I was also surprised. It was strange, but it was easy to spend time together. In the scene in Isobe's room, they were both left alone while everyone else was setting up their scenes. So the two of us just relaxed and read manga.

Aoki: I've already been ruined by the cushion that ruins other people (lol).

Ishikawa: There was an orange cushion. It's also in the movie.

Aoki: In terms of relationships with the other cast members, I feel like there was an exquisite sense of distance between them. The blond Misaki gang played by Yuki Kura are getting along too well. Me and the Misaki corps were in the same waiting room, but each time I filmed a scene with me alone and a scene with the Misaki corps, the Misaki corps became closer and closer each time we filmed. I was kind of envious of that, and I was a little irritated by how close they were. But for Isobe, I think feeling irritated is the correct answer.

Q: I see, your real relationships have an influence on your acting.

Aoki: That's right. I feel like thank you for showing off your friendship in order to create feelings for Isobe. I'm grateful now (lol).

Q: We talked about the room, but Isobe's room is also the place where many things happen, like turning points. Was the shooting done all at once?

Ishikawa: Yes. It was almost a complete shoot.

Aoki: We shot so many shots at once that I was physically exhausted.

Ishikawa: I was exhausted. That space was a tough place for Isobe, so I think Yuzu-kun was more exhausted than I was.

Aoki: That may be true. That room was created by Mr. Art by remodeling his house, and it feels as if Isobe's older brother's warmth is clinging to it (*), and although it is closed-off, it becomes a place for Isobe's heart to rest. It was a unique space. Thanks to that, I feel like I was able to become Isobe just by being there. The support from those around me helped me a lot.
