Ford Anglia in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets"

The sky blue Ford Anglia that appears in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) is a Ford Anglia 105E that was magically modified to be able to fly by the father of Harry's best friend Ron Weasley. . It's a versatile machine that can not only fly, but also make its body transparent by pressing a transparent booster, but Uncle Weasley will be punished later because it was an illegal modification.

In the movie, Harry is locked in a room by his naughty aunts, but is rescued by the Weasley brothers who arrive in a Ford Anglia and return to the magical world. After spending time with the mysterious and charming Weasley family, Harry, who was unable to board the Hogwarts Express to the wizarding school, gets back into the Ford Anglia with Ron and heads over the Scottish mountains to Hogwarts Castle. The scene where it flies through the sky and runs parallel to the Hogwarts Express is particularly impressive.

It's interesting that a flying car, something seemingly science fiction, appears in a magical world, but in reality, this Ford Anglia is deeply connected to the memories of author J.K. Rowling.

When Joanne Rowling was a teenager, she had to watch her mother slowly become infected with multiple sclerosis. Dark and painful days continue, but on the other hand, there are things like Lumos's spell that give light. When I was 18, I met the person who would become my lifelong friend.

His favorite car is a blue Ford Anglia. He said he would pull up in front of Joan's house and invite her for a drive around town. It is no coincidence that the man who takes Rowling out of her suffocating daily life into the outside world coincides with Ron, who comes to rescue a lonely Harry in his flying Ford Anglia. He was Ron Weasley's model, and the original story of ``Chamber of Secrets,'' in which the car in question is featured, is dedicated to him.

The cars that appear in movies are fun because they have their own reasons and stories. Ordinary cars that people have used in real life are sometimes modified, sometimes fly in their original form, and transform into completely different characters. There are some cool machines like the Batmobile and the DeLorean, but ordinary cars that have a story behind them are also essential and attractive.
