Anime version with voice and partner

Continuing from last time, in preparation for my first film in the title role, ``Joker ,'' I would like to look back at the various versions of Joker , Batman 's nemesis and the clown prince of the criminal world. I thought that by revisiting the various styles and basic images of the past, you would be able to see how the new Joker is different from the previous ones, what they have in common, and enjoy its uniqueness even more.

The 1990s animated series `` Batman '' by Bruce Timm is characterized by its sharp deformation, and was produced under the influence of 1989's `` Batman ,'' and has an overall dark atmosphere. In addition to the film's theme song by Danny Elfman, the Joker 's real name is Jack Napier, and Two-Face has an African appearance (Billy D. Williams is Two-Face's predecessor in the movie). (He played the role of District Attorney Harvey Dent.) A wide range of characters appear in simple and easy-to-understand designs, from major villains to minor villains, as well as members of the Batman family such as Batman 's sidekicks Robin and Batgirl, so it's easy to understand the worldview and premise of the characters. I think this is a suitable work.

There are two main things that emerged from this work. One is the Joker, voiced by Mark Hamill. Hamill's voice for the Joker has become a standard, and it can be said that it is his second most famous role after Luke Skywalker, the main character in the original Star Wars trilogy. I love that terrifying laugh that seems to rise from the depths of the earth to the thundering night sky more than any other live-action version.

Another character born from this anime is Harley Quinn, Joker's mistress. First seen as a live-action character in the movie `` Suicide Squad ,'' she is actually a villain imported from the anime into the comics, and later becomes the Joker 's accomplice. Originally, she was a counselor at Arkham Asylum who was supposed to treat the Joker , but while interacting with him, she became fascinated by his crazy charisma and became Harley Quinn, a monster dressed as a clown. He rescues the Joker from the hospital and enters Gotham's underworld himself. Her style also changes depending on the work and medium, but personally, my favorite is this early clown style drawn by Bruce Timm.
