Fusion of classical and modern, challenge of production



The few characters in the story don't say much and live their lives silently based on their circumstances. Since there are few lines, images and sounds play the role of eloquently telling the story. The director was most particular about the black skin tone. If that aspect were not beautiful, the identity of this work would be shaken. According to the director, film was invented for white people in the first place, so it's not suitable for black skin. Therefore, I used a digital camera to thoroughly control the shooting environment as I wanted.

Human skin is affected by the colors of the environment, so we paid attention to the artistic elements of the location, and made minute color adjustments during editing. The color changes slightly as it grows. The camerawork follows the main character's actions as if they are close to him. A portrait shot that is disconnected from reality, like a fashion photo. An attempt to remix classical music with the slowed-down chop-and-screw technique of hip-hop. By combining traditional techniques and new techniques in accordance with the psychological state of the protagonist, he uses digital work to accurately express a unique world where strength and delicacy coexist.

Additionally, Boris Gardiner's ` `Every Nigger is a Star '', which is played at the beginning of this album, is the original song that was sampled in the first track of hip-hop genius Kendrick Lamar 's masterpiece album ` `To Pimp A Butterfly '' (15). . Not only does the album have a meaningful title, ``Every Nigger is a Star,'' but the album also explores the outward theme of black identity and the underlying theme of sexuality. Because the film has a minimalist composition with little sound, each detail is felt and left open for interpretation.
