Synopsis
April 16, 1960, 3:01 minutes ago, you were with me. I'll never forget this minute. You are my 1-minute friend. ” Yodi (Leslie Cheung) says this to Sue (Maggie Cheung), a saleswoman at the soccer field. The two fall in love, but one day Yodi leaves Sue. Yodi does not know his biological mother, and this casts a shadow on his heart. Yodi spends the night with Mimi (Karina Lau), a nightclub dancer. When Mimi leaves the room, she runs into Yodi's best friend Sabu (Jackie Chun), who falls in love with her at first sight. Sue cannot forget Yodi and visits his room every night, and Tide (Andy Lau), a police officer on night patrol, has feelings for her. Set in Hong Kong in the 1960s, the fates and loves of young people intertwine, centering on Yodi. Eventually, their dreams from which they cannot wake up accelerate at a speed that is unimaginable.
