The high rhythm of slapstick comedy that stimulates the pleasure center

Now, after Belfort suddenly becomes a charismatic figure in the financial world, the movie itself enters a high state of ``rationalism''.

Stratton Oakmont has become a veritable melting pot of madness, with endless crazy parties happening every day. The company is like a nest of fishy beasts driven by desire. Intoxicated by drugs and alcohol, complacent games such as ``dwarf tossing'' are played at Mato, and employees are having sex with call girls everywhere. A wine pond of euphoria and confusion, orgies and drunkenness. Everyone is doing too much. However, it is Scorsese who is the most over-the-top and playful. (lol).

As Belfort shouts, ``Make some noise until the end!'', it seems like the story will never end until all the characters are defeated. But in reality, the wild celebrations don't last long. Eventually, Belfort and Oakmont Corporation begin to engage in illegal stock buying and selling, and the FBI catches their eye.

Although I am taken aback by this overwhelming immorality, every time I watch ``The Wolf of Wall Street,'' I feel an indescribable sense of freedom. This bubbly high has the effect of directly stimulating the pleasure center.

Screenwriter Terence Winter said, ``He is corrupted by the system he was using. This is the story of a refreshing young man who turns into a financial monster.'' ``We went through a severe economic collapse (Lehman Shock in 2008). However, the people who should be held responsible are still in important positions.''The film can be interpreted as a satirical drama or cautionary tale about Wall Street, which leans towards greedy money-seeking and spirals out of control. You could also do that. But Jordan Belfort is a familiar name, and Scorsese's performance is accompanied by a hilarious slapstick comedy rhythm.

Belfort is certainly trash. Heading towards destruction through no fault of your own. However, his unrelenting way of life, endowed with a certain kind of supernatural ability, is transformed into an anti-hero-like motility that breaks through the constraints of reality, and becomes a source of vitality. It's a movie that instantly recharges you when you watch it, like an extremely effective tonic.

In the latter half of the story, we will learn about the sinking of the luxury yacht Nadine, originally built for Coco Chanel, which Belfort inherited, and the teppanyaki restaurant chain that led to Belfort's arrest by the FBI. The film also depicts money laundering by Rocky Aoki, the owner of ``Safflower'', and drug dealing suspicions related to the insider incident. And Belfort's (to put it best, indomitable) figure that still stubbornly tries to stand up.

The music that colors his ups and downs is truly a hodgepodge. It is Scorsese's specialty to enhance the moving power of a movie with a skillful selection of ready-made songs like a DJ, but in this film, he uses everything from hit songs like Billy Joel's ``Movin' Out'' to rock'n'roll, punk, and more. A chaotic swirl of songs from all genres, from blues and hip-hop to opera and tropical (Randall Poster served as music supervisor).

Billy Joel "Movin' Out"

Derek and the Dominos' famous song " My Layla ," which is played in the highlight of " Goodfellas ," is the equivalent of " Mrs. Robinson " (Simon & Garfunkel (a power pop style with a much higher BPM), it flows into Allen Toussaint's piano piece " Cast Your Fate to the Wind ". This is the scene where the FBI raids Stratton Oakmont Company.

After that, the song that plays during the end credits (which is equivalent to Sid Vicious's " My Way " in "Goodfellas"!) is Robbie Robert's song featuring Matthew McConaughey's strange song that is performed at the beginning of the movie. Son's rare and unusual song " The Money Chant ". The jokes keep working until the very end!
