A movie based on an actual incident that took place in the 1960s.

Catch Me If You Can(2002), directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, is based on a true incident that took place in the 1960s. The main character is Frank W. Abagnale Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio), a teenage boy known as a "genius fraudster" for his sophisticated check forgery skills. The film depicts the years from when he started forging checks at the age of 16 until he was arrested. Of course, it was adapted for film, but the story makes you wonder if such a person existed in real life.

The protagonist is not only skilled at forging checks, but also enjoys impersonating various professions. An airline pilot, a pediatrician, or a lawyer. The main character pretends to be a pilot or a doctor with the ease of a child experiencing a simulated job at Kidzania. Impersonating someone using the name of the main character in a comic they love is portrayed as a child's play, with no trace of guilt.

Licenses and certificates needed for employment are often obtained through forgeries. When the time comes, they move to another land and start living with a new personality and name. The movie humorously depicts the game of tag between the protagonist and FBI agent Carl Hanratty (Tom Hanks), who is chasing him. (The title of the work is translated into Japanese as “Oni-san, here”)
