review
Synopsis
At a time when everyone was losing faith in public authority, a detective openly accused the police of corruption. The man's name is Frank Serpico. While working as a plainclothes police officer in New York, he is shocked to discover that his colleagues routinely bribe and extort. Serpico firmly refuses to accept bribes and becomes isolated within the organization. Even so, he struggled alone to remain faithful to the spirit of the law.
