The flavor of a simple but convincing love romance

At the same time, “Delicious” also has the flavor of a love romance. The flavor is subtle and rich. One day, as Mansuron spends his days disappointed in his hometown, Louise, who claims to be a former prostitute, applies to become his apprentice. Inspired by Louise's passion, Manceron gradually regains his lost passion for cooking, and the decisions he makes after learning Louise's terrible secret are more poignant and touching than anything else related to cooking.

Grégory Gadubois, who plays Manceron, is a talented member of the Comédie Française, and some may remember him from his role as Major Henri, an intelligence officer in Roman Polanski's ` `An Officer and a Spy '' (19). Dew. Meanwhile, Isabelle Carré, who plays Louise, has been nominated for the Cesar Award eight times. At first, no matter how you look at it, it seems unlikely that Mancelone and Louise will fall in love, but when they eventually become attracted to each other, the unexpectedness is due to the strength of the two actors. This can be said to be the unique charm of French films that is not found in star films.

Filming for Auberge took about a month starting in September 2019, and was carried out in a renovated 18th century abandoned barn located at an altitude of 1,000 meters in the Cantal region of France. A cast of 350 people will gather there, including the main characters, supporting roles, and extras. What is noteworthy is the impressive lighting reminiscent of a painting, as exemplified by the scene where Manceron and Louise stand in a dimly lit kitchen and cook. Jean-Marie Derouge, the cinematographer known for `` My Time with Cézanne '' (16) and ``The Painter, the Gardener, and the Campagne'' (2007), was conscious of the French artist who is said to be the greatest painter of the 18th century. They included still life paintings, genre paintings, and pastel paintings by painter Jean Simeon Chardin. The roots of video were also made in France.
