Urban development and local cats

``Take Care of My Cat'' captures the gradually disappearing landscape of Incheon, which is undergoing urban development. Seoul is within commuting distance from Incheon, a suburb of Incheon, but Hye-joo hates the smell of pork kimchi that fills the subway she rides on her way home from work. Hae-joo, who has a strong desire to move up in spite of her complex, moves to Seoul. The landscape of the well-maintained city is contrasted with the landscape of the deserted slums of this era.

The ceiling of Ji-young's parents' house is on the verge of collapsing. Dust is falling from the ceiling, which has been repaired with newspaper. When I consulted my landlord, I was treated unreasonably and told to leave if I didn't want to live there. We know that if you step outside the city of Tokyo and its surroundings, you will find a very similar landscape. Ji-young picks up a stray cat in this town and gives it to Hye-joo as a birthday present.

Stray cats as nomads. Stray cats also face a reality that they cannot do anything about on their own. Jung Jae-eun also depicts landscapes disappearing due to urban development in her amazing documentary `` The Cats' Apartment '' (22). This work, which takes as its theme a strategy to relocate stray cats who have lost their homes due to development, depicts the coexistence of cats and humans with a miraculous sense of distance. Rather than sketching the ecology of cute cats as pet animals, I will instead capture cats as symbiotic creatures with humans. Cat eyes glowing in the darkness of the night. Stray cats as city dwellers. A new cat movie as an adventure movie. This film, which depicts the true nature of stray cats, proves that the filmmaker who made ``Take Care of My Cat'' remains interested in capturing the true nature of 20-year-old women.

"Cats' Apartment" preview

Incheon's maze-like narrow alleys and Seoul's shopping centers in "Take Care of My Cat." In this work, these two contrasting scenes are spatially produced as equivalent images. The magic of the movie is that the group of five busily moving around inside a shopping center gradually begins to look like stray cats wandering through narrow alleys. Tae-hee Bae Doona, who has the most image of a stray cat in this work, rushes through the narrow maze-like alleys of the slum all by herself.
