review
Synopsis
James is a 25-year-old young man who lives with his parents in a small shelter isolated from the outside air. From inside the dome, he could only look out at the deserted surface above, and his life underground was everything to him. As a child, he grew up watching the educational video ``Brigsby Bear'' that arrived in the mail every week, and now spends his days researching the ``Brigsby Bear'' program. One day, he thought his days would continue to be peaceful, even if he was a bit bored, with his friends chatting on the computer and his close parents, but one day, the police took James away and his parents were arrested.
The two, who thought they were his parents, had kidnapped James 25 years ago and raised him in isolation. James is confused by the sudden arrival of the "outside world". Even though he ends up living with his real parents and his sister, who is in high school, James has never watched TV or met anyone other than Ted and April, whom he considers to be his parents. Everything is new to him. The experience is full of surprises. The two people who made ``Brigsby Bear'' solely for the purpose of educating James were arrested, and he is disappointed that he will not receive new videos in the future, but his sister Aubrey and Spencer, who loves movies, With his help, he decides to film his own movie version of ``Brigsby Bear'' and complete the series with his own efforts. James, who grew up in an unusual environment, meets friends who accept his eccentricities, and gradually those around him are attracted to his innocence, honesty, and passion for manufacturing.
