Synopsis
Olive is a girl living in rural Arizona. She is extremely ugly and fat, but by chance she is chosen to represent her district in a national beauty contest. The Olive family gets on a dilapidated yellow car and heads for California, the place of the decisive battle. A father who is obsessed with becoming a winner in life, an older brother who follows Nietzsche and remains silent due to his beliefs, an uncle who is gay and attempted suicide, an old delinquent who was kicked out of a nursing home for smoking heroin, and a family that is falling apart. A mother struggling to keep things together. The strange and heartwarming journey of such a fallen family has begun...!
