“Object X from the Planet” Synopsis

The story takes place at a winter Antarctic base. An unknown life form that flew from space, crashed, and was frozen for 100,000 years is released from a long sleep and attacks humanity. ``Object Eventually, the members, who have fallen into doubt, face a night of confusion that borders on death.

“Digital remastered version” that makes creatures feel more realistic

Currently, the masterpiece of the invasion science fiction movie "Object from the Planet information). This digitally remastered version is based on the original 35mm camera negative, with new material scanned at NBC Universal Studios Post. The material was then restored and graded, supervised and approved by the film's cinematographer, Dean Cundey. The shaking and scratches seen on previously released Blu-rays have been corrected, and you can enjoy this work in high image quality that makes it hard to believe it was made 36 years ago.

What stands out in particular is the way the unknown extraterrestrial life form that appears in the play approaches with a more realistic texture. When the film was first released, the distributor, Universal Pictures, only allowed some of the characters to be exposed, and the audience was stunned by what they saw in theaters. This is because the process by which extraterrestrial life forms assimilate with humans and dogs, and then take over them, is so full of visceral sensations that they are themselves extremely strange creatures. Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who played a female paleontologist in the film's prehistoric sequel ` `First Contact '' (11), accurately described her appearance.
