Designers and models in the movie

The relationship between designers and models is so dramatic and sometimes cruel that it can be said to be a standard in films with fashion designers as the main characters. For example, there is Loulu de la Falaise, known as Yves Saint Laurent's muse. Born into one of the most prestigious aristocratic families in France and a star of high society, she brought many achievements to Laurent and played a major role in promoting his clothes around the world. Her complicated relationship with Laurent, who was homosexual, is often talked about, and their love-hate relationship has been chosen as a perfect subject for a film, and she appears in an important role in films such as " Yves Saint Laurent " (2014), which was made into a film based on Saint Laurent's autobiography.

Also, Edie Sedgwick was worshipped as an icon of the factory run by Andy Warhol while he was making movies. Like Lulu, this privileged girl born into a wealthy family was celebrated as the darling of the era along with Warhol, consumed as an idol, and in the end, she was quickly forgotten when Warhol's creative interest shifted to another woman (Nico). The movie " Factory Girl " (2006) portrays her short life at the age of 28, played by Shena Miller.

While designers are often portrayed as monsters who consume the lives of their models, the PTA is not as straightforward as they used to be. In this film, it is the models who grow into monsters, which is interesting.
