Eventually, the two open the door to a forbidden love that cannot be turned back, and head to a state that no one could have imagined. Is this form of love distorted? Or is it pure love? Behind the scenes of gorgeous haute couture (high-quality tailored clothing), the sweetest and most frantic psychological battle of love in movie history begins!

The genealogy of the main character drawn by PTA
At the heart of Paul Thomas Anderson's (PTA) films is an observational look at people who are caught up in something with an extraordinary amount of energy. At the same time, the main characters he depicts are exceptionally funny, or charismatic to the point of being hateful, or sometimes even isolated geniuses.
Reynolds Woodcock, the main character of Phantom Thread, is also a worthy member of the lineage of PTA protagonists. Set in the American West in the early 20th century, ``Phantom Thread'' stars There Will Be Blood, the star of ``There Will Be Blood,'' which depicts a man who rises to become an oil tycoon, as the Phantom Thread. It depicts the fashion world in London, England in the 1950s. Reynolds is a designer and dressmaker who owns a salon that creates dresses and social wear for upper-class women. He dedicates his life to making clothes for his customers, and although he is on the verge of old age, he does not have a family, and he and his beautiful sister, who are co-owners, have taken care of the salon with the utmost care. Their customers are women from aristocracy and royalty.
