Fuck the future.
Goodbye Berlin
review
Synopsis
Mike is 14 years old. He has a crush on his classmate Tatiana, but he is too cowardly to talk to her. He is an outcast in his class, and when he reads an essay about his alcoholic mother in class, his classmates laugh at him and call him a "psycho!" and his teacher gives him a hard time.
One day, the homeroom teacher came with a transfer student. Chichachev is an unfamiliar name. ``Where are you from? Introduce yourself.'' ``Don't be bothered.'' Apparently, they immigrated from a faraway part of Russia. She has bad eyes, a strange hairstyle, and a hangover. Rumors about the transfer student, Tic, quickly spread throughout the school, saying that an incredible person had arrived.
Summer vacation has begun. One day, Chick suddenly shows up at my house in a blue, dilapidated diesel car called ``Lada Niva.'' ``Is it a stolen car?'' ``I just borrowed it. I'll pay it back later.'' ``I'm going to get arrested.'' ``I'm 14 years old. My punishment starts at 15.'' Mike looks around the inside of the car in fear. ``Let's go for a drive,'' and the two set out on a journey to Wallachia, where Chic's grandfather lives.
While encountering trouble, they continue to encounter and part ways over and over again during their journey. Before long, their reckless and thoughtless journey becomes something Mike and Tick will never forget.
