3. “Kirishima, quit club activities” (12) Director: Daihachi Yoshida 103 minutes

Kamiki's masterpiece is a youth group drama that holds an important position in recent Japanese film history. A vivid depiction of how the hierarchy within the school falls apart when a popular member of the volleyball club quits the club.

Kamiki played the role of a plain high school student who belongs to the film club. He loves ``Tetsuo'' and the magazine ``Eiga Hiho'' and is passionate about filming Dawn of the Dead movies. On the other hand, he is in the shadows in class and is ridiculed by the girls. The scene where he explodes with emotion and rebels against the "higher" students is one of the most famous scenes.

The play has a structure similar to the play ``Waiting for Godot,'' in which Kirishima, who is the center of the topic, does not appear, and a production similar to ``Elephant'' (2003), in which the same matter is depicted from a different perspective from the students' perspectives. Young actors such as Ai Hashimoto, Masahiro Higashide, Mizuki Yamamoto, Mayu Matsuoka, and Taiga Nakano are playing the student roles. Suzuka Ogo, who played the heroine in ``Disappeared in the Distant Sky,'' will also appear.

In addition, Kamiki also appears in the music video for the theme song ``The Sun Also Rises'' sung by Yu Takahashi, and the content of this work is like a side story.

4. “Rurouni Kenshin Kyoto Inferno / Legend’s End” (14) Director: Keishi Otomo 139 minutes/135 minutes

A sequel to ``Rurouni Kenshin'' (12), which was a huge hit and was made into a live-action movie based on a popular manga. Kamiki received explosive acclaim for his portrayal of Sojiro Seta, a character who is popular among fans of the original work, at a level that could be described as a ``live copy.''

The time is Meiji. Kenshin (Takeru Sato), the former most powerful assassin at the end of the Edo period who vowed "no killing", takes on a fierce battle with Shishio (Tatsuya Fujiwara), a terrorist who seeks to overthrow Japan. Seta, played by Kamiki, is Shishio's right-hand man and a swordsman who has lost all emotions other than ``comfort'' due to past trauma. He is a user of "Shukuchi" which allows him to move at high speed, and has the speed and natural talent to break Kenshin's sword.

This series is known for its high-speed and elegant action, and Kamiki exhibits unpredictable movements such as freely running around on a swinging ship, moving at high speed while lying on his back, or dodging swords by flying. She is fascinated by the way she works in harmony with Ken Sato, an ally with whom she has a close relationship both in public and private life.

Around the same time, she teamed up with director Miike again in ``As the Gods Say'' (2014), in which she played an eccentric genius, and in ``Brain Poison Berry'' (15), she played the heroine's ``emotions,'' and took on new roles one after another. Challenge.

5. “Bakuman. ” (15) Director: Hitoshi Daikon 120 minutes

A youth film in collaboration with Sato, following the ``Rurouni Kenshin'' series. Two high school students formed a manga artist duo to write the original story and draw the illustrations. The story revolves around a passionate writer who aims to be serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump and eventually join the ranks of popular writers.

Kamiki, who has brown hair and a superficial appearance, plays the role of a high school student in charge of the original work who has a theoretical way of thinking and an unwavering passion for manga, and acts as a brake for the illustrator (Sato), who tends to go out of control due to his obsession with creativity. , he plays the role of a partner who takes the reins as a strategist. The vivid transformation from the "yin character" to the "positive character" that he played in "Kirishima, quit club activities" is also a great sight to see.

The two rival manga artists are Shota Sometani and Kenta Kiritani, the editor supporting them is Takayuki Yamada, the editor-in-chief is Lily Franky, and their classmate is Nana Komatsu. The innovative visual expression typical of director Ohne in ``Moteki'' (11) is also interesting. Stylish "techniques" shine from beginning to end, such as projection mapping, end credits, and compatibility with the soundtrack created by the popular band "Sakanaction."
