9. “March Comes in Like a Lion” Part 1/Part 2 (17) Director: Keishi Otomo 138 minutes/139 minutes

In this work, he reunites with director Otomo of the ``Rurouni Kenshin'' series, and takes on the challenge of adapting the popular manga by Chika Umino of ``Honey and Clover'' into a live-action movie. With his amazing performance, he embodies the role of a 17-year-old professional shogi player with a complex inner life.

A boy (Kamiki) loses his family and becomes an apprentice at a shogi player's house in order to survive. This is a human drama that depicts the growth of the youngest professional shogi player in history as he overcomes numerous challenges, using emotional and bold strokes. It consists of two parts, the first part and the second part, and you will be amazed at Kamiki's ``talking on the board'' performance, where he becomes a professional shogi player both physically and mentally.

The cast, which includes Kasumi Arimura, Kana Kurashina, Shota Sometani, Kaya Kiyohara, Issei Takahashi, Tomoya Nakamura, Kuranosuke Sasaki, Ryo Kase, Hideaki Ito, Yusuke Iseya, and Etsushi Toyokawa, is also a big attraction. The gradation of the protagonist's life-sized high school student emotions as he interacts with them is beautiful. Kamiki's ``silent acting'' that does not rely on dialogue will captivate your heart.

Kamiki, who underwent special training to play the role of a shogi player in this work, was given the rank of ``Amateur Shodan'' by the Japan Shogi Federation.

10. “Last Letter” (20) Director: Shunji Iwai 120 minutes

Movies such as ``JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable Chapter 1'' (17), ``Fortuna's Eyes'' (19), ``Murder at the Corpse Manor'' (19), and ``Detective Distortion'' (17), In the past few years, he has shown remarkable success in TV dramas such as ``An extremely articulate lawyer barks at school'' (2018), ``Group Demotion!!'' (2019), and ``Serial Drama W Iron Bone'' (2020). A sacred tree.

His latest film is ``The Last Letter,'' directed by Shunji Iwai, who specializes in lyrical visual poetry. He plays the high school days of the novelist played by Masaharu Fukuyama, and shows off his fresh presence. It can be said that this movie clearly shows Kamiki's characteristic that even when he is in the same space as Suzu Hirose and Nana Mori, he only looks like a high school student. Despite being a veteran actor, Kamiki's ``craftsmanship'' is sure to impress, as he purposely ``reverted'' his acting to an unfinished one, giving it a fresh look.

In addition to the poetic story and visual expressions, this work is directed by Iwai, where the actor's inherent ``smell'' is an important factor, and the sight of the sacred tree swimming gracefully like a fish out of water is impressive.

Kamiki's acting is stable and uneven depending on the work, making him reliable for the creators and reassuring for the viewers. In recent years, he has begun to play the role of an office worker, and there is no doubt that he will become an even more attractive actor as he gets older.

On the other hand, Takeru Sato's cheerful character as shown in his YouTube program is also heartwarming. A presence that doesn't look strange or create a character, and can bring comfort and smiles to the viewers. Ryunosuke Kamiki will continue to be as solid as ever and will remain the same forever. That continuity is endearing.
