The movement of history to make Clara die

I had always assumed that the only time Clara would die was when Marty and Doc rescued her, right after she arrived in Hill Valley, but that's probably not the case. The reason why Clara was driving the carriage by herself in the first place was that even though the mayor had asked her to pick up a new teacher from the station, Doc prioritized finding a way to time travel with Marty. That's because I just made arrangements for the carriage and left it alone. But this is also because Marty arrived in 1885. It's going to be a little difficult to read, so I'd like to give names to the main world lines here.

First, Route A is the original year of 1885, when neither Doc nor Marty came. Next, there is a version in Route B where Doc comes alone and is killed by Tannen after writing a letter to Marty. The version in which Marty rushes in to save Doc from the fate of Route B (part 3 main story) is seen as Route C.

As I've already written, Clara on route C escapes falling from the ravine for the time being. Since Doc's grave marker in question is the result of Route B, we have to supplement it with Clara's death there. From this point on, personal imagination is included, but in Route B, Doc goes to the station to pick up Clara as requested by the mayor, and there, as in Route C, he falls in love with her at first sight. Their relationship deepens (Doc meets Clara after writing a letter to Marty, and meeting her probably makes him even more determined to give up on returning to the future and stay in this era), but soon... He is killed by Tannen, and a message from Clara is attached to his grave marker. After that, Clara may have thrown herself down the ravine in grief. This makes sense, and the valley can be named Clayton.

However, since 1955 at the beginning of Part 3 is an extension of Route B, even though it was a short period of time, it is possible that the history of the city that Marty learned had already been changed at this point, and the name of the valley had also changed. There is. In other words, there is a line that says that Clara did not fall from the ravine on route B, which could explain the problem, but as long as the name of the ravine in 1955 at the beginning is seen in the video, it cannot be confirmed. (Please note that I may have overlooked something.) After rescuing Clara from the runaway carriage, Marty also mentions the name of the valley for the first time, so I'd like to assume that the valley was still Clayton Valley in 1955. .

By the way, how was Route A? Since there is no blacksmith (Doc) who seems to have free time, the mayor cannot ask anyone to pick up the new teacher. Therefore, just like Doc originally did in Route C, only a carriage is arranged and Clara takes the reins alone. After that, the story unfolds in the same way as Route C, when the horse, startled by the snake, goes out of control and crashes into a ravine along with its rider. The valley is called Clayton Valley after the teacher who died in the crash, and Marty learns about it through a high school class, and this story is still passed down 100 years later. In other words, it is thought that Route C had a development that was quite similar to Route A. In Route A, where Marty didn't come and even Doc didn't come, Clara died as soon as she arrived at Hill Valley.

On Route B, where Doc comes to pick you up, you can live a little longer than on Route A, but if, as I imagined, you committed suicide after Doc's death, then there is something naturally changing about history. I feel like it's trying to return to its original state. Although Route B's Doc doesn't seem to realize it, his arrival in 1885 changed the life of Clara Clayton. In the first place, the fact that Doc exists in 1885 is itself irregular. The fact that Doc in Route B is killed in the end may be a result of the routes trying to naturally converge (this may also be reflected in the fact that Doc has already avoided death once in Part 1). unknown). Then, wouldn't the changes that changed Marty's parents and Biff's lives be undone somewhere? No, that's probably not true. At least George, Lorraine, and Biff haven't avoided death. Only the content of life has changed, not its length. On the other hand, Doc and Clara in 1885 have a contradiction in their very existence, a so-called time paradox. That's why I think that even on Route B, Clara would have lost her life in some way in the end.
