Are you familiar with the Los Angeles Police Department corruption scandal? This is a case of corruption, including robbery and assault, that occurred in the 1990s at the Rampart Police Department, which had jurisdiction over the downtown area of Los Angeles. By the way, it was this police department's Operation Crash that caused the tank to Paths of Glory the house at the beginning of ``Straight Outta Compton '' (15).
Rampart police officers are suspected of being involved in the murders of rappers Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G., making it a terrifying police force. This case is now widely known, with films such as ` `Rampert '' (2011) starring Woody Harrelson being made about corruption at the Rampart Police Department.

The film's screenwriter, David Ayer, lived as a teenager in South Central Los Angeles, an area inhabited by black and Mexican gangs. Eyre, who naturally befriends gangs, hears from them that ``cops are exploiting us,'' and decides to write a screenplay about police corruption and gang violence. At that time, corruption had not yet become public knowledge and was a fact known only to those in the know.
The script, written by Ayer, follows Jake Hoyt (Ethan Hawke), a new recruit to the Los Angeles Police Department's drug enforcement division, training with veteran detective Alonzo Harris (Denzel Washington), a man suspected of corruption. The story depicts the conflict between good and evil throughout the day of the training.
After leaving the U.S. Navy, Ayer returned to Los Angeles and completed the script for ``Training Day,'' but when he read the script, no one believed him and no one agreed to make the film. From around 1997, incidents involving the Rampart Police Department gradually came to light, and in 1998, Officer Rafael Perez, who was suspected of being involved in many cases including the Notorious BIG murder case, was arrested, and the Rampart Police Department's misdeeds were revealed. The whole story has been revealed. At that point, David Ayer's script changed direction, and the major Warner Bros. decided to produce it.
