The title ``Big Wednesday'' comes from the first surfing film made by John Sieverson in the early 1960s. Sieverson has dedicated his life to surfing culture, making documentary films and publishing magazines. In this work, the world's largest wave, which hits the California coast on Wednesdays, is called "Big Wednesday" and symbolizes the dreams of surfers.
