A perfect balance between historical fact and fiction

As depicted in the movie, women were not allowed on stage in the 16th century, and instead, pre-voice altering boy actors dressed as women on stage. Also, Christopher Marlowe, who appears as a rival playwright to Shakespeare, is also a real person. The scene in which all the actors who come to audition disappoint Shakespeare by reciting lines from Marlowe's masterpiece ``Dr. Faustus'' is reminiscent of the relationship between the two.

In addition, Henslow, the producer of the Rose Theater played by Geoffrey Rush, Will Kemp, who is famous as a famous Elizabethan comedian, and Richard Burbage, who was hailed as the greatest actor, are also real people. And, of course, the British monarch Queen Elizabeth, who calls herself Thomas Kent and offers words of condolence to Viola on stage, also exists. Queen Elizabeth is an essential character in the development of the story, in which even though the story is about breaking the ban on women, she cannot be punished because she has received the Queen's approval. When the circumstances of Viola, who disguises herself as a man, and the queen, who is a woman but runs a country and deals with foreign countries, overlap, the screenplay, which combines historical fact and fiction, begins to smell of quality.
