Numerous historical facts that supported the story

There aren't many movies that blend historical fact and fiction so well. ``Shakespeare in Shakespeare in Love'' (1998) is one of the most successful works of its kind. The main plot, in which the young William Shakespeare falls in love with Viola, a high-society lady who admires him, is fictional, but the story is supported by a number of detailed historical facts.

Another appealing feature is that the settings and lines are taken from Shakespeare's plays. Even if you're not familiar with Shakespeare, there are lines and scenes you've heard that are sprinkled throughout the book, and these serve as the driving force behind the story.
