When Alex appears at the beginning of the movie, wearing sunglasses and a long coat, as Chow Yun-Fat in `` A Better Tomorrow II '' (1987), it is already clear that this is not a noble movie. One of the most famous scenes is when Alex, cornered by enemies in a hotel, punches a hole through the floor with a machine gun and escapes downstairs. "This gunfight is probably the best action scene I've ever directed. It was everything I wanted to do. We shot countless blanks and used hundreds of firecrackers. I would like to thank the stuntmen, especially the one who had firecrackers tied to his body."

Furthermore, during the filming of this scene, a large number of blank bullets were fired at close range, resulting in an accident in which fragments of shell casings hit the assistant cameraman's throat. Fortunately, it came off the trachea and there was no serious injury.

``That's how intense the filming was,'' Director Pyun said with satisfaction during the audio commentary, but the reality was that the scene was chaotic.
