A masterpiece worth revisiting along with “The Irishman”

`` The Irishman '' (1919), directed by Martin Scorsese. This film is undoubtedly Scorsese's masterpiece. There's also the charm of being able to feel the breath and feel of various Scorsese's past works while watching it. For example, in terms of big picture scrolls involving the mafia, I am immediately reminded of `` Goodfellas '' (1990) and `` Casino '' (1995), which feature the golden trio of De Niro, Joe Pesci, and Scorsese in a powerful way.
