Romantic lines uttered by Nico Kay, who later became a Kaiyu star.

Basically, in ``On a Moonstruck,'' the male characters are not in a good position, as shown by Johnny, who is a mother-boy, and Cozmo, who is unfaithful. Among them, Ronnie is the only one who is entrusted with a famous romantic line. Ronnie, who works at a bakery and has lost an arm, is living a depressed life when suddenly he is unable to suppress his love for Loretta. While the other characters are family members, relatives, and other old acquaintances, Ronnie is the only newcomer, which makes his purity even more remarkable.

Ronnie: “There are two things I love: you and the opera. If I can enjoy those two together, I will forget about you.”

Ronnie: "The snow is perfect. The stars are perfect. But we are different. We will end our lives suffering from love. Let's go to my room."

Ronnie: “My hope is to be in love with you. Even if I burn in the fires of Inferno.”

Although he loves opera, Ronnie's lines are exaggeratedly romantic. What is interesting is that Nicolas Cage plays Ronnie, the purest and most refracted of the assertive and unique Italian family characters.

Nicolas Cage starred in `` Wild at Heart '' (1991) four years after `` Moonstruck '', as well as `` Leaving Las Vegas '' (1995), for which he won the Academy Award for Best Actor, and `` Face/Off.'' His strong acting roles such as " Off " (1997) have become his masterpieces, and he is currently captivating movie fans with his presence as a kind of "great actor star", including his words and deeds in his private life. One of the works that made Nicholas a star was ``On a Moonstruck,'' which was completely different from his current image. Nowadays, that gap is also a big highlight.

At first, the studio decided not to use him during screen tests and considered Peter Gallagher, but Cher, who played Loretta, strongly pushed Nicholas to be cast in the role. To play the role of Ronnie, who has a prosthetic arm, Nicholas said he was inspired by Rotwang, the mad inventor from Fritz Lang's classic film Metropolis .

The Japanese title ``On a Moonstruck'' has a beautiful sound, but the original title ``Moonstruck'' is also a romantic expression of the overall theme of the work, and I am impressed. People who "lost their sanity due to the waxing and waning of the moon" regain their true selves after doing something erratic. There aren't many works that depict such life themes in such a lighthearted, fun, and empathetic way. Those who have seen it once will remember this movie forever, along with its famous lines, as if under the spell of a full moon.
