"On a Moonstruck" preview

Nominated for 6 categories at the 60th Academy Awards, including Best Picture. There is no doubt that this movie is a masterpiece as it won Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Original Screenplay, but what will win the hearts of viewers is probably the skill of the screenplay, as the Academy Award results show. . Of course, the development of the main plot, in which the heroine is confused by a love she has never experienced before, is also exquisite, but what leaves the most impression on this script are the many famous lines. All of them have a bit of a twist. It's rare to see a work in which that twist functions as much as it does to spice up the story and human relationships.

The script was written by John Patrick Shanley. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for 2008's Doubt , a play he wrote (which won a Pulitzer Prize and a Tony Award). Since he is basically a writer who writes a lot of plays, he may have a strong commitment to dialogue.
