Luc Besson, a child of the wind, a battle on the edge
Starting with `` The Last Battle '' (1983), Luc Besson took the film industry by storm in the 1980s. The momentum showed no signs of slowing down even as the 1990s entered, and with `` Léon: The Professional '' (1994), it broke through to another level. However, to tell the truth, ``Léon: The Professional'' was produced as a ``fill-in'' when a science fiction project he had been working on for many years fell through. The science fiction project that failed was ``The Fifth Element'' (1997).

Besson did not give up. Fortunately, after the huge success of ``Léon: The Professional,'' the wind changed dramatically. His presence in Hollywood has increased, and he is now in a position where it is easier to launch projects than before. Meanwhile, Besson decides to take on ``The Fifth Element'' again, as if he can't move forward in life even a millimeter unless he settles this revenge match.
I can't fail this time. I can't even go back. His tenacity at the edge of the cliff bore fruit, and the work he staked his life on was born into the world.
