In a public housing complex in London, a group of juvenile delinquents are threatening a woman and extorting money from her, when suddenly a meteorite falls and an Alien appears. Although the delinquents were surprised, they fought back without flinching and beat them to death, but immediately after that, meteorites came flying at them one after another, and many Alien larger and more ferocious than the first time appeared. After witnessing a tragedy unfold in the housing complex they are accustomed to living in, the juvenile delinquents decide to fight back.

A starry sky spread across the screen. A shooting star can be seen emitting a ray of light, and fireworks are also going off in the sky. As the camera gradually pans down, it focuses on a woman emerging from the subway. A woman walks while talking on her cell phone, but as graffiti begins to appear on the walls, she gradually becomes less popular. Then a group of boys appeared with bandanas wrapped around their faces to hide their true identities.

A boy who is a leader threatens a woman to hand over her cell phone. When the woman loses her belongings and loses her temper, the leader gets irritated and threatens to give her the ring. As the ring finally slips out of the woman's finger, something falls onto the car behind them. A woman running away. A mysterious creature jumps out of the car. The boys jump on their bikes and chase the escaped creature.

When the boys catch up to them and throw the firecrackers they have, a creature they have never seen before appears in the light of the fireworks. They kill the creature with a knife and shout, "Welcome to London, motherfucker!" The title of this movie, ``Attack the Block,'' is displayed there, and a block (high-rise housing complex) towering over the night view of London appears...

From this point on, the movie takes an unpredictable turn.

By the way, the fireworks are part of the British festival ``Guy Fawkes Night.'' Guy Fawkes Night is a British custom where children set off fireworks and light bonfires.
