"Matthias & Maxime" synopsis

30-year-old Matias (Gabriel d'Almeida Freitas) and Maxime (Xavier Dolan) are childhood friends. That day, they head to a friend's party together, but what awaits them there is a request from their friend's sister. The two end up acting in a kissing scene between men in a short film she is filming, but after that chance kiss, they begin to realize their hidden feelings for each other. Matthias, who has a beautiful fiancée, cannot hide his confusion at the feelings and urges he has developed for an unexpected partner. Meanwhile, Maxim prepares to leave for Australia without telling her his feelings, fearing that their friendship will be ruined.
