Synopsis
1958. Stevens, the old butler at the Darlington mansion, receives a letter from Miss Kenton, a woman who used to work at the mansion. Driven by nostalgia, memories from 20 years ago come back to his mind. At that time, Stevens, who was always loyal to his master, and Kenton, who was strong-willed, had repeated conflicts over work. Little by little, the two began to develop feelings for each other, but there was no way Stevens would notice, as he prioritized work first. Meanwhile, the topic of marriage comes up for Kenton. When Stevens learns of this, he becomes extremely upset, but...
