The contrast between those who leave and those who remain reveals the essence of youth.



However, it does not simply depict immoral acts that escape from the framework of society. In the movie, his childhood friends are reduced by one, then two, as he says, ``I can't keep up with the pranks anymore.'' Colin depicts defectors returning to their hometowns on long-distance buses with a certain sense of emptiness. There is definitely the bitterness of irreparable compensation.


These women, who should have barely maintained their morals and reason, feel like losers. I believe that the essence of this work lies in the contrast between the loneliness of those who leave and the blind power of those who remain.


The events depicted in this film may be overly caricatured nonsense. However, youth films are a genre that always borders on resignation, with the idea that ``the end will come someday.'' Those who leave Spring Break are, so to speak, shaken off from the swell of youth and have no choice but to return to their ordinary lives. Isn't there a sentimentalism that everyone has felt in the tinge of pain that oozes from that separation?

And those who remained on the beach seemed to believe that if they continued to run as far away from reality as they could, like a runaway train, they would someday reach paradise. However, the girls who turn into villainous Jack Reacher are not just reckless idiots. This is because there are devices in the movie that make it seem like the movie is not oblivious to the creeping reality or believes that there is salvation in reveling in bad deeds.


Britney Spears ' 2004 hit single " Everytime " is sung by James Franco on the piano in the movie.
