Did they look like the Beatles? The inside story of the Sex Pistols

The story extracts important historical facts and reveals the love and hate between Sid and Nancy. Although they are both junkies and need each other, they sometimes hate each other and separate, return to their former homes, and become addicted to drugs. You could say that this romance was doomed from the beginning... Opinions are divided as to whether this can be called true love or not, but it makes sense when you consider that it's a love story between two young people in their 20s, and it's still a spectacular love story.

This is a bit off-topic, but from a rock historical perspective, this is interesting. Sid can't live without Nancy, and Johnny, who wants the band to survive, hates her for leading Sid to ruin. This is reminiscent of an episode in which the Beatles were once a ``boy's club,'' but the intervention of a woman led to internal turmoil. When John Lennon brought his lover and future wife, Yoko Ono, into the studio, dissonance reverberated within the band, and Yoko began to give opinions to the band, causing a power imbalance that led to the Beatles being the driving force at the time. It is said that Paul McCartney, who was in charge of the show, had a negative reaction to John and Yoko. In ``Sid and Nancy,'' there is a scene in which Johnny is annoyed by Nancy's bossy talk, and it reminds me of an anecdote about the Beatles.

In any case, there is no doubt that this work records the lives of people who have carved their names in rock history. Johnny is quick-witted and uses his cynical wit to provoke feudal society. Sid, on the other hand, instinctively kept saying no to everything he didn't like. There is a crucial difference. In that sense, it was probably only a matter of time before the Pistols split up. In the play, such dissonance is vividly depicted.
