Even the famous song “My Way” becomes wild and punk!
Finally, let's touch on music. No Pistols-credited numbers were used in the film, and the main music was composed by Joe Strummer and the Pogues . The former is the frontman of The Clash , a punk band that was around the same time as the Pistols. The latter is a band whose sound is a combination of Irish trad and punk, and frontman Shane McGowan experienced the heyday of punk in London. All of them are artists who know their time.
After this, Strummer and Pogues appeared as actors in Cox's next film, Straight to Hell. Strummer also composed the music for Walker. The bond between the two formed through Cox's work led to Strummer joining the Pogues when McGowan left. Meanwhile, McGowan, who left the band, went solo and released several hit songs, one of which was a punkish cover of the classic classic "My Way," which can also be heard on "Sid and Nancy."
