Alan's unpredictable character was created because improvisation is recommended.

“Hangover! The plot of ``'' is quite simple, even though it twists and turns and goes off the rails. A group of bad friends go to Las Vegas for a bachelorette farewell party and search for Hanamuko, who has gone missing. However, everyone is extremely hungover and cannot remember when or where Hanamuko disappeared. The setting, which explores what exactly happened during one night, adds a mystery-solving aspect to the slapstick drama.

Everyone is familiar with the picture of ordinary men everywhere accidentally going too far and causing an unusual incident, but when you add the element of "Las Vegas, the city of pleasure" to the mix, things start to snowball. It's getting worse. In other words, ``The Hangover! ” is also a dark fantasy where what is meant to be an extension of daily life suddenly crosses a certain line and gets lost in the demon city of Las Vegas. However, in the case of Las Vegas, the dark side is more cheerful and full of excitement.

It would be better if everyone could empathize with the faces that wander into the Demon Capital. Therefore, certain stereotypes are applied to the main characters. Doug (Justin Bartha), a member of the team who goes missing, is a nice guy who represents the team's conscience. Phil (Cooper) is a goofball but a leader, Stu (Helms) is serious but changes suddenly when he gets angry, and Alan (Galifianakis) is a natural troublemaker...

Director Todd Phillips said that after discussing Alan with Galifianakis, who plays the most eccentric character among the four friends, they decided on a character that would be ``mean to kind people and kind to mean people.'' On set, where improvisation and ideas not found in the script were encouraged, Galifianakis was able to develop a character that was extremely twisted and evil. As a result, the character Alan was given a much larger role than originally envisioned. Then, director Phillips, who was amused by this deviation, created The Hangover! ”, and I suspect that the direction of the series that follows has been decided.
