“Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles” A dark and strange chemical reaction caused by young charismatic people of the 90s
A confrontation between two great actors of different types
The movie ``Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles'' features vampires with various personalities, and the point is that the actors of various types come together to create a chemical reaction in front of the camera.
For example, Tom Cruise, who plays the lead role, is an actor who has risen to the top by being extremely conscious of how his image will appear on screen from the beginning of his career. Of course, he prepares his role thoroughly, discussing the acting and direction with the director until he is satisfied with them, and if there is a line that is inappropriate, he candidly requests that it be changed. In this way, it can be said that he has controlled the world of his works based on his own presence. Tom attracted attention for his completely different features on ``Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles'', such as ``Taking on the role of a villain for the first time!'' and ``Looking amazing with special make-up!'' However, it is no different from other works in that it powerfully dominates the screen in every scene with its charisma that overflows without doing anything.

So what about his counterpart Brad Pitt? This popular actor from the same generation as Tom, who dominated the 90s film industry, has a very different type of charisma. He never tries to control the film, but rather tries to blend into it naturally and concentrate on the ensemble. I am the type of person who finds new sides to myself by entrusting myself to the work and direction, and is also happy to see the work itself turn out to be of high quality. Compared to Tom, who leads the way and goes aggressively, he can be said to be a much more delicate and artistic type.
When I think about it now, I'm impressed that two such different types of actors were able to pull off such a great performance in one movie. However, if you think about it the other way around, it may have been director Neil Jordan's ambitious attempt to pit these two people, who seem like oil and water, against each other. In other words, let's throw two different people into the same hole and see what happens. Will they eat each other? Or will they coexist?
What is the miraculous chemical reaction between the two?
