"Thelma & Louise" (91)
Directed by Ridley Scott. This film was nominated for four Academy Awards and won the Best Original Screenplay Award. The film depicts the escape of Thelma (Geena Davis) and Louise (Susan Sarandon), who accidentally commit murder. Brad Pitt plays JD, a handsome hitchhiker who drives Thelma crazy. The role of J.D. was originally cast by William Baldwin, but he dropped out to appear in ``Backdraft'' (1991), and the role was given to Brad Pitt, who had previously failed the audition.

"A River Runs Through It" (92)
Directed by Robert Redford. A family story about a father, older brother, and younger brother, set in America in the 1910s and 1920s. The beautiful depiction of Montana's magnificent nature and fly fishing won an Academy Award for Best Cinematography. Brad Pitt's refreshing facial expressions, which are reminiscent of a young Robert Redford, became the catalyst for his big break as a young star.

"Seven" (95)
This is his first collaboration with director David Fincher, who can now be called an ally.
